Provide Your Documents
Bring the license plates, registration codes, vehicle registration card and current mileage of the camper. The buyer needs a valid ID.
Camper Export Complete
You receive the proof of discharge, the buyer the export document. The camper is deregistered from the RDW. The entire process takes just 15 minutes.

Campers and motorhomes are high-value vehicles, making the proof of discharge particularly important when selling one for export. This document officially confirms that the vehicle has been transferred and that you, as the former owner, are no longer liable for any obligations related to the camper. Given the higher value of motorhomes, the financial risks of not obtaining proper discharge documentation can be substantial.

Export Insurance for Campers: Driving to the Destination
If the buyer intends to drive the camper to their home country, export insurance with export license plates is required by law. Since campers are self-propelled vehicles, many buyers choose to drive them to their destination rather than arranging transport. The export insurance provides temporary liability coverage for 2 weeks, and the buyer receives export license plates to replace the Dutch plates that are handed in.
If the camper is transported on a flatbed or by professional vehicle transport, only the export document is needed. Consider the complete export package for the best value when both the export document and insurance are needed.
No MOT (APK) Required for Camper Export
A valid MOT inspection (APK) is not required to export your camper. You can sell a camper for export regardless of its technical condition or inspection status. This is particularly relevant for older motorhomes or campers that may have failed their last inspection. Whether the camper is in perfect condition or needs repairs, we can prepare the export document as long as it is registered with the RDW.
Damaged or non-running campers can also be exported. Many foreign buyers specifically look for project vehicles that they can restore at a lower cost in their home country.
